A New Year message from all the team and Patrons of Round Table Children's Wish
January 2010
We hope you had a fantastic Christmas and would like to wish you all a very happy New Year!
Thank you for all the support you have given us throughout 2009 - We had a very successful year during a difficult financial time and are really looking forward to starting 2010 and helping many more children who have wishes they would like to come true. We hope that this year will be as prosperous as the last and are just so grateful to everyone who has donated to the charity or even taken part in an event to raise money to grant more wishes for the children.
The offices are now back open and we are here if you need any advice or have any queries relating to either a wish or fundraising, then please give us a call on 01202 514515. It would be great to hear from you!
Best Wishes

A Christmas Message from Harry Redknapp
December 2009
The children this charity supports undergo gruelling treatment and they and their families face heart-wrenching worry every day. Often a parent has to give up work to care for them and money for treats is non-existent. Round Table Children’s Wish offers a ray of light at a time of great anxiety and discomfort – creating special memories and a moment of joy in a young life.
In the spirit of Christmas, giving and families we’re appealing for your help. Please give whatever you can to Round Table Children’s Wish and help make childhood dreams come true for some very poorly children.
The four-day family Lapland holiday includes a trip to the Snow Village to meet Santa and the elves, a chance to bake with Mrs Claus, visit Santa’s workshop and enjoy a husky-drawn sleigh ride. The children who go there tell us it’s the best time of their lives – and they certainly deserve it.
Among the children we hope to send to Lapland this year is six-year-old Lucinda Kennedy, her sister Madison and parents. Lucinda, who lives in Bournemouth, is suffering from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and has endured tough treatment with great bravery.
Please remember this very special Bournemouth-based charity this Christmas –you can donate online at www.rtcw.org or call 01202 514515.
With our sincere best wishes for the season.
Harry and Sandra Redknapp
New Website Launched
September 2009
Our thanks go to GVA Grimley, TaxAssist Accountants and Crafted Media for all their help, hard work, guidance and patience to help create this superb new website. Helen Jeffery, Fundraising Manager, said: "What started off as a good idea has finally become a reality. Everyone has worked really hard to help us put this together. We are really looking forward to feedback on the new website."
It proves how corporates can work successfully together to help charities.
